Amanda's first overseas holiday was at the age of eight, and as an adult she has been on the road as often as not.
A traveller at heart, her 40+ years in the travel and hospitality industries has included airline reservations, hotel marketing and sales, lodge design and construction, general retail travel and specialist travel designing in Africa and India. For the past 12 years she has focussed on Australian travel, and now strives to share the essence and nuances of this incredible country with those who come to visit.
Amanda's skill lies in being able to quickly understand what makes people tick and not only dream up their perfect holiday, but also ensure it unfolds effortlessly. Having previously lived abroad in Rome, New Delhi, Dubai and Victoria Falls, she loves to experience the lives of other people and aims to bring a sense of personal connection to her travel design.
Amanda still travels a lot internationally and around Australia. She loves to spend long periods of time in other part of the country including Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Darwin, the Barossa Valley and Mornington Peninsula. However, it is the bush that often beckons her to return and the more time she spends under the wide blue skies of the outback, the more she falls in love with her home.
Based in sunny Perth, Amanda lives close to her extended family and treasures their rowdy Tuesday night family dinners.
